Have you ever wondered how to make backlinks to your website? Or you probably want to know what a back-link is, and how it can be of use to drive website traffic to your website, help to increase your flow of website traffic, and generate unique visitors to get more website traffic? . Read through and educate yourself with information on what a back-link is and
how to create them.
Do you want to know what a back-link is? First of all, ask yourself these questions….
- What is a back-link to your customer?
- What is a back-link to the Search Engines?
- And what is a back-link to you?
The line of thought that you MUST have is that your customer is first and foremost. The search engines are a distant second. The last and least important, is you. You are not in the equation here! You are… Well… lets just say you are just here. That’s it! You – the website owner, are “behind the scenes”. It is your customer, your targeted website traffic, that really is the whole purpose and reason for your web site. Always remember that. Keep that first and foremost in your mind and it will keep you on the right side of the fence. If you don’t please your customer and/or your web visitor/ website traffic and give them what they are looking for, then your website traffic will be very low quality. If you are wondering what a “low quality” website traffic is, then read my article below. When deciding on how to make backlinks and to which site to link from, keep your visitor in mind.
If you want to learn how to make backlinks, and where to insert your backlinks, you need to understand something and ask yourself these questions,
How many times have you walked into a grocery store with the intention of buying a New York Yankee’s jersey for your son?
And how about this, When was the last time you took your car to get serviced at McDonald’s?
If you can remember a single time you did either of the above, then you need not read any further. If not, then you are exactly like 99+% of every other shopper. That is… You go to a grocery store for groceries and “similar” items, and you go to an auto mechanics garage service your car. If the owner of the auto mechanic garage tried to convince you to buy a new leather sofa you would wonder what his expertise really is. It works the same way with back-links to and from your website. You need to know how to make backlinks and where to insert it for maximum result of website traffic.
Learn backlinks and apply it to get more website traffic
Now, think to yourself, what are backlinks? And can I learn how to make back-links? I’ll tell you what it is and what you can do. In the shopper’s eye, (namely your web visitor/ website traffic), it is a product or service that you are recommending they buy. Now, if your website promotes “gold plated horse shoes”, and some other site selling “Denture bond-fast” is back-linking to your 
site, why would the visitors to either site consider the site owners an authority in either field? It does not matter what you yourself think of this. Remember your customer. You have to gain his or her trust. I cannot, your neighbor cannot, and your best friend’s second wife cannot trust you to be an authority in two such vastly different niche markets.
Even if you know a great deal about these products or services, you should never ever inter-market them. This is because, the chances of either of those websites making a sale on either link is practically – nonexistent. But the search engines, especially Google, will not look favorably on your site and will consistently reduce your ranking. The bad outweighs the good.
If however, that same back-link pointed your visitor towards “Mane and Tail Shampoo for horses”, you would have created yourself a winning back-link. You and your website will go up in value in the eye of your customer. Because, they came to your website with credit card in hand ready to buy. It is not up to you to try to convince them that you are here to satisfy their wants and needs. But it’s up to you to prove to the visitor that you are THE ONE that will HELP THEM with their need. Linking them to a completely unrelated website kills your authority, it kills a potential sale, and the chance of that visitor ever coming back. A very good way to prove your authority in your field or niche, is by not “stepping outside your niche”. Never forget that!
Judge yourself and decide what to do about to achieve more website traffic
I know that when the topic of how to make backlinks comes up, there are many so called “experts” out there that will tell you that a backlink is a backlink is a backlink… and, that 10 is good, 100 is better, 10,000 is even better, but 100,000 is the ultimate. I am sorry my friends, But please do yourself a favor and throw that advice out the window! Because it is pure garbage! 10,000 unrelated back links will do your site, your credibility to your website traffic and your ranking in search engines more damage than good. 5 good high quality, closely related back links will increase your credibility, your website ranking, and your customer’s trust towards you, a thousand times more. If you don’t believe my words then do an analysis about website traffic and see the track records. Remember to always think quality is better then quantity when it comes content of your website and how to make backlinks.
I by no means am trying to convince you that when your trying to figure out how to make backlinks, and you go ahead and create those links to a high quality, relative website, that it will increase your sales. I am also not saying that back-linking should be ignored for getting website traffic. There are many more things you must do to increase your website traffic and ultimately your sales. Back-links are being sold out there for “a dime a dozen”. Good quality back-links sell for much, much more. Be careful where your site is linking to and/or 
being linked from and you will up the value and ranking of your site greatly. Don’t do overwhelming task for obtaining more website traffic which may discourages the visitors.
I know I will get many emails and comments, both positive and negative about this article. And that is OK. I personally read every single one of them. I want you realize that I am here to help. I am sure Backlink will be in every suggestion. But I do recommend that you at least try it and prove me wrong.
